High-end clientele offers unique opportunities to Marketers
Orlando, Florida, Lod, Israel March 22nd 2007 – MobiMate, the leading mobile travel services provider, released today demographic information about its WorldMate customer base. The best-selling WorldMate franchise is a set of business travel services comprised of travel content and utilities for a multitude of mobile devices including Blackberries, smartphones, PDAs and Personal Navigation Devices (PND’s). The demographic data was collected recently from a representative sample of WorldMate users spanning several mobile platforms. The essential finding shows that the WorldMate clientele is affluent, corporate oriented, highly mobile, and predominately male. Some highlights of these statistics include:
MobiMate also revealed that it has more than 250,000 active users who connect to its WorldMate servers to obtain travel related information such as flights, weather and currency information. This user-base is growing over 10% per month, with over 40% of the users in the US and Canada and another 35% in Western Europe .
